Pilates Teacher Training

“If your spine is inflexibly stiff at 30, you are old; if it is completely flexible at 60, you are young.” – Joseph Pilates

We offer a Classical Pilates Teacher Training program tailored for Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants. Our complete Pilates Teacher Training Program comprises 275 hours in total, and is divided into two sections:

Comprehensive Beginner and Intermediate Mat Course

This program consists of 50 training hours, broken down as follows:

  • 32 hours of in-classroom instruction from a senior-level teacher
  • 10 hours of mat classes
  • 8 hours of self study
  • Practice teaching with supplementary videos

Upon completion of the mat course, participants will be fully equipped to teach the Pilates mat exercises.

Students will learn a total of 28 exercises during their 32 hours of in-classroom instruction. This includes learning how to teach each exercise to a first-time client, a beginner-level client, and an intermediate-level client, as well as how to modify each exercise appropriately as required.

This section is approved for 32 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants. ACE and AFAA CECs are also available.

Course cost: $900
